What’s cuter than a seal? Pretty much nothing, except for this seal happily playing with a tiny, plush version of itself.
This sweet creature is Agu, a 28-year-old male seal living at Monbetsu Okhotsk Land‘s Seal Paradise on Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan.
Laughing Squid calls the park Japan’s “one and only marine animal conservation facility.”
According to the Seal Paradise website, Agu has a big appetite.
He’s also OK at tricks, though he needs a bit of prodding to get them just right.

Agu’s female roommate, Hiyori, also got a seal plush of her own, and she looks just as happy with hers.
“The seals tried giving the seals hugs and piggyback rides,” their keepers tweeted. The blushing smile emoji at the end captures this seal’s face perfectly.
