About Us

At Azula, our goal is to share the latest, greatest, cutest, weirdest and coolest news about the 71 percent of our planet that doesn't get all that much attention: the ocean.

Oceana — the world's largest organization focused solely on ocean conservation — created Azula in 2014 to grow a community of like-minded ocean enthusiasts. Through shareable and relatable content, we aim to inspire others to love our blue planet as much as we do — and take action to protect it.

So, whether your next party could use remote-controlled fish balloons or you want to watch a dugong ride a sea turtle, Azula is the place for you! What are you waiting for? Dive in!

We love working with partners to engage audiences in a meaningful way. For more information, please contact Emily at eludwigsen@oceana.org.

For editorial-related inquiries, please contact Melissa at mvalliant@oceana.org.
