The Craziest Catches From Our Favorite Russian Fisherman Last Month

We took a look at Russian deep-sea fisherman Roman Fedortsov's horrifying Twitter to see what ungodly demonic fish he unearthed in September.

It's October now, which means it's basically Halloween, which in turn means it's time to look at some terrifyingly real pictures of monsters lurking deep under the waves of oceans outside of Russia. That's right, we're taking a look at Russian deep-sea fisherman Roman Fedortsov's horrifying Twitter to see what ungodly demonic fish he's unearthed in the past month.

Remember him? Remember this? Are you ready? You may never be, so let's dive in!

First off, we have a lighter-than-usual catch from the bowels of Russian oceans: a fish with makeup!

We can't explain exactly why, but we know that the feeling of nausea and revulsion that strikes us in our very core when we see this next creature is probably universal.

Here we see Fedortsov giving a routine dental checkup to a compliant fish.

And we have a visit here from Dracula, but don't worry, move along, there's really nothing to see.

Wait ... what? Is that the top of the fish? The bottom? Where are its eyes?! How many teeth does it have?

WHAT IS THIS MESS OF DEEP-SEA LARVAE NOODLES

And what happened to this fish's lower jaw??

We pity the fish that gets in the way of these teeth.

Lumpfish apparently come in all sorts of colors.

WTF is this thing??

Oddly enough, we're less creeped out by this little guy than we are mesmerized.

This fishy is actually pretty lovable. Something about those eyes being so close together ...

Can't say the same for this guy, despite that incredible smile.

And finally, to end on a cute note, or at least as cute as Fedortsov will ever get: a whole family of lumpsuckers, lined up in a row!

Only less cute on the bottom ... (Sorry!)
