"There are plenty of fish in the sea." We've all heard this phrase plenty of times, but did you know there are actually something like 3.5 trillion fish in the world's ocean? Yes, trillion.
Among these fish are species so unique and breathtakingly beautiful to look at that it's hard to believe some of them are real.
With vibrant hues and intricate patterns, the most beautiful fish in the world are pretty hard to choose. According to World Atlas, there are more than 18,000 species of fish in the ocean — many of which are stunning to look at.
So while it's hard to choose the most beautiful fish in the world (and a little subjective, too), here are some of the most talked-about fish when it comes to appearances.
